Through multi-disciplinary activities, the DGP will promote the legacy of her leadership and business acumen, her commitment to her faith and her sense of responsibility to those in need. • These activities will include: lectures, films, forums and panel discussions, music and theater that will focus upon, and promote, a greater cultural awareness of the Jewish experience on the Iberian Peninsula, issues of women’s empowerment, leadership and history. • It will also include the contemporary issue of the b’nai anousim - descendants of forced converts who now seek to return to their Jewish roots. We support and will promote their efforts irrespective of which denomination of Judaism they wish to join. • To create the Dona Gracia Nasi Scholarship Fund that will provide financial support to a young woman whose studies are in the fields of international business or politics - who could not otherwise further her education. |
